Thinking about the question of “Why travel solo?” can be accompanied by anxieties and doubts, especially among less experienced travelers or more anxious solo travelers. Because instinctively – and with good reason, of course – we feel safer in our own “cave,” often disparagingly referred to as the “comfort zone,” than in foreign climes among strangers.
